So we had an impromptu farewell party for Dancho tonight. Such a nice day. We started off with lunch at a Filipino restaurant followed by a short excursion to the beach b/f the thunderstorms hit, and ended with cake and vodka on the porch. I've forgotten how much I enjoy just sitting out on the porch with friends. I sat for the most part between two big groups (5 russian guys on my right and 6 Bulgarians on my left) with me, my hookah, and a table full of alcohol in the center. It was a nice evening though. The weather was pleasant and we all just hung out and everyone kinda switched back and forth between their languages to accomodate whatever conversation they were having. By 1 am I was left with just Alexey, Andre, and Dima sitting around watching the rain pour down and cracking jokes about Russian bears, slow Estonians, and Alexey only shaving half his face during a drunken evening, not realizing it and meeting with his advisor the next morning. Fun times, I haven't laughed that hard in awhile.
It's 2:30 am though and I'm SOOO behind on my studying. What to do. I'm going to miss Dancho, he's off tomorrow afternoon and I'll be minus a good friend once again. I hate summers sometimes...
