Bleary Eyed

Much of my weekend was spent looking through old photo albums. Reminiscing good times and old friends. Sometimes I wonder if myth and superstition are right and that photos capture a part of you, and if so, do the people you learn to love and to laugh with capture a part of you too by creating memories with you. So what has happened to my soul? Has its parts been captured and taken across the globe? Do i carry with me parts of others, even those that briefly stepped into my timeline? Who am I then? Do people who are born and raised in one place, loving and knowing the same people their whole lives have more of themselves intact? Well, while interesting to think about it doesn't take away the ache that memories bring about, the feeling of "nazukashii". For now photos, emails, and phone calls will have to do.
